My Chemical Romance Offer Masks, Death Certificates With Live CD/DVD
My Chemical Romance will be releasing The Black Parade Is Dead, the band's new live CD/DVD, sooner than you think.
June 24 is the day to run to your local music store and pick up a copy (or midnight the day before, if you're a fanatic!) of the band's new set. Spend a little extra dough on the special edition of Dead (it comes in a pinewood coffin!) and you'll get a ton of extra goodies: handpainted "Day of the Dead" masks, three downloadable live tracks and every kids' dream - a death certificate for each member of the band, which recently took home the award for Best Indie Live Band at this year's NME Awards.
The CD/DVD clocks in at over two hours and will give you a taste of MCR's energetic live show in both large and intimate settings. While some of Dead takes from the band's show at the Palacio de los Deportes sports arena in Mexico City (October 7, 2007), its performance at extra-tiny Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey (October 24, 2007) is also included. Not to mention DVD extraordinaire Adam Rothlein (Green Day, System of a Down) directed it.
